Black August is a time to remember the people who sacrificed for collective liberation. It began as a commemoration of Black political prisoners and freedom fighters whose lives and struggles continue to shape movements for liberation today. Black August is a time for study, discipline, community, and renewed commitment to building a more just world.

This year, MuslimARC is bringing together organizers, artists, faith leaders, and community members for an educational program that will kick off our long-term programming to support the ecosystem in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
